This is an opportunity to work with a thriving independent local charity in delivering its free youth provision. The post will include both administrative and face-to-face work within the Centre’s existing youth service as part of a small team.

Initially the post will be for six hours per week, centred around a Thursday evening session but you will be encouraged to expand provision and, subject to funding, additional hours may become available.

The applicant will be expected to manage a team to plan and run activities both on and o site as well as providing support for the young people attending (aged 11 and above). The ideal candidate will be organised, pro-active and with a positive outlook and experience of working in a similar environment and will demonstrate a strong commitment to young people together with an understanding of the factors aecting their lives. Relevant quali"cations and good administrative skills are desirable.
