GlobalARRK is the only charity providing support to ‘stuck’ families in crisis who are unable to return to their home country with their children following an international residence dispute. Many are migrant victims of domestic abuse and face multiple disadvantages, including insecure immigration status, language barriers, financial hardship and social isolation. They are unable to legally go back home but also struggle to stay.

We help these families to be safer, understand their legal options and feel empowered by offering a range of free of charge support services including a helpline, case worker support, peer support, legal fact sheets, links to pro bono lawyers, a legal clinic, group recovery programs and workshops.

We also advocate for long term solutions, policy change, improved protection and access to justice for ‘stuck’ families by raising awareness, promoting research, education and policy development.

We provide specialist, trauma-informed support to help families navigate complex legal systems, rebuild their lives, and move towards safety.
