The Festival provides an annual platform for children and young adults to showcase their skills in Creative Writing, Speech and Drama, Music, Musical Theatre and Dance.  

We are affiliated to the British and International Federation of Festivals for Music, Dance and Speech. 

Every year we attract around 5 thousand participants - from schools and studios in Bath and surrounding areas.  We give out around 200 awards and in total have 14-16 days of performances.  

Every year we hold a Bath Young Musician and a Bath Young Actor competition - which bring together exceptional students in events held in the centre of Bath.  

We also have a yearly Dance Festival based in Wrigthlington School in Trowbridge.  

The Festival is run entirely by volunteers and we have a range of committed sponsors who provide financial, artistic and practical help.
