The Oasis vision is for community – a place where everyone is included, making a contribution, and reaching their God-given potential. As Oasis in the UK we have been pioneering sustainable, holistic community development for over 40 years. We work in many communities affected by inequality that impacts all areas of life.

In Bath, our work includes two affordable food pantries, one of which we run in partnership with other organisations. Our building is home to many other community groups and services including twelve-step fellowship groups, counselling and other events and activities. We also run short-term or ad-hoc projects to meet community need. In the last few years these have included a warm space, pop-up pantry, trauma informed yoga classes, cooking clubs, holiday clubs, food parcel project and various one-off skills workshops.

We also have a church community, Oasis Church Bath, which has four defining characteristics. These are; an open, progressive theology, full inclusion (particularly in relation to the LGBTQ+ community), a commitment to social justice and an accessible church service style.
