Full Description of Organisation
Pear Tree Community Farm is a community-led market garden project in the heart of Limpley Stoke and Freshford, growing nutritious, locally grown produce for the health and resilience of the local community. Following nature-friendly farming, we will build biodiversity, soil health, climate resilience, food security and deliver fun community education and well-being for all ages around the themes of nature, health and climate.
Growing will be managed by fairly-paid professional grower/s. We will sell weekly organic vegetable boxes to local residents and wholesale/surplus to local businesses. The business will be financed through veg sales, community shares, donations and grant funding.
