Quartet Community Foundation is a leading independent grant-maker in the West of England, supporting local charities and community groups in Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire.

At the heart of this, is our expert philanthropy advice service, built on trusted, long- term relationships with our donors. We collaborate closely with them and local charities to ensure that funding reaches those who need it most.

Since 1986, we’ve been connecting local generosity with local needs to create lasting change across the West of England. Funding for community activities and services is central to our work and in this time we are proud to have distributed over £80 million in grants to hundreds of local charities.

We typically award around £5 million every year or 1,000 grants, and have built a £64 million endowment fund, ensuring communities receive support for generations to come.

In addition to funding local charities, we offer a skilled volunteering service – ProHelp – that connects organisations in need of expert support with professionals willing to share their time and knowledge.

We are part of UKCF, a national network of accredited Community Foundations, bringing together people and organisations that want to improve their communities.
